After making the last three out of 1,000 companies, Newton Press attended the Regional Finals of the North East Business Awards at Ramside Hall last night (14th March).
The Newton Press team were honoured to receive the award for the ‘Heart of the Community’ award in the Durham, Sunderland and South Tyneside region, which means we will now go into the next stage, the North East finals, taking on winners from the Northumberland and Teesside regional finals on 16th May at Hardwick Hall.
The award was sponsored by Gentoo who were very generous in their praise of the work Newton Press does for its community.
It was a proud moment which allowed Newton Press to remember the father of the company, Syd, and his guiding passion and enthusiasm for the town of Newton Aycliffe.
