Pioneering Care Partnership (PCP) cordially invite you to join in their celebrations for World Down Syndrome Day by participating in their ROCK YOUR SOCKS (RYS) 2020 Rebooted campaign.
By doing so, you will be helping not only to raise awareness and change perceptions but will also be assisting them in raising the essential funds they need to ensure that their vital service can continue.
On Saturday 21st March 2020, the world will be coming together and celebrating World Down Syndrome Day! So jump in with both feet and join the millions of people who will be standing tall and showing support by wearing outrageous, colourful and non-matching socks, spreading awareness and fun throughout the land.
Together 21 (T21) is a project supported by Pioneering Care Partnership (PCP) based in Newton Aycliffe and serves families who come to them from throughout the North East. The project helps children and young people with Down Syndrome and their parents acquire essential skills that will equip them to meet the future with confidence. They provide learning support groups, training and advice, as well as being a forum of peer support for the whole family.
Each participating school or business will receive a downloadable ideas pack containing e-posters, collection bucket banners and other goodies to create a memorable day and aid in your fundraising efforts! You can also participate via Twitter and create your very own ODD SHOTS shout out showing your day of fun. Each participant will also receive a “Socktificate” of Merit showing their total raised to proudly display!
- If you would like to log your interest and receive your RYS pack, contact PCP on T21.Rockyoursocks@pcp.uk.net.
