Background
I trained as a news reporter for the Teesside Gazette before moving into sport as a publications officer for Middlesbrough Football Club. I then spent four years in the media team at Sunderland AFC before setting up Mantis Media. I launched the Aycliffe Today Business magazine in November 2012 and later the Tees Business magazine.
Why are you a member of ABPC
I’ve always been passionate about my home town of Newton Aycliffe and I’m really passionate about promoting the business park, which was the ultimate driving force behind Aycliffe Today Business.
Likes about business &/or ABP
I thrive on creating new publications. But I also thrive on coming up with content that people will find interesting and/or useful. I also enjoy reporting on news and what’s happening around the business park, which I guess is the instinctive journalist inside me!
Hobbies/interests
I used to watch a lot of football (I’m a big Boro fan) but I don’t get to as many games as I’d like these days. After a working week I like to spend my time relaxing, socialising and eating out with friends and family. I also love to exercise and go to the gym four or five times a week.
