Family Run Business Wins Tier 1 Automated Industrial Vending Project
A Newton Aycliffe family-based RFID and engineering business has secured its largest project to date, with Tbox Tech awarded a major automated industrial vending contract by Tier 1 manufacturer UNIPRES.
The project builds on the company’s patented industrial vending platform, developed and refined over more than a decade in demanding manufacturing environments. The rollout will see Tbox expand this technology at scale. They will be Integrating RFID into these next generation machines, improving stock accuracy, traceability and operational control across the shop floor. It represents the biggest single project in the company’s history.
Importantly, the supply chain behind the project features Aycliffe Business Park companies and wider North East manufacturing partners. Fabrication, assembly and integration work will be delivered locally wherever possible, keeping skills, investment and economic benefit within the region.
